UWS Summer STEM Academy
Gillian attended the UWS Summer STEM Academy to hold workshops on Genomic Data Science in the Classroom for senior high school pupils and student teachers. Attendees also had the chance to extract DNA from kiwi fruit, practise their pipetting skills and attempt the DNA origami challenge (Lanarkshire campus, July 2019).
